Nino is Partner in our Corporate practice and advises across equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and insolvency matters.
He has a significant experience base advising on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters (often with a cross-border focus), including mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, capital raisings and IPOs, private equity and joint ventures. Nino also advises on Corporations Act and Listing Rule compliance, corporate governance and other regulatory issues.
Nino has expertise in the resources and energy, technology, gaming and transport sectors and has advised on several significant transactions for both ASX-listed and large private companies in these industries.
Nino acts in all matters concerning insolvency law (both corporate and personal) and advises on a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions arising out of insolvency administrations, including the recapitalisation of many ASX listed entities.
In the course of his insolvency practice, Nino acts for liquidators, administrators, receivers and bankruptcy trustees; acts in litigation to recover unfair preferences, uncommercial transactions and insolvent trading claims; advises on priorities issues under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth) and assists with the implementation of deeds of company arrangements and creditor’s trust deeds.
