Judy Zhu is a Senior Associate in our Intellectual Property, Technology and Cyber Security practice.
Judy enjoys a broad practice in both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property and technology law, having advised both individual and corporate clients ranging from start-ups to multinational companies. She has particular expertise in advising on copyright protection; trade mark prosecution; design registration; domain name registration; regulation of telecommunications providers; IP licensing; and IT contracts.
Further, she has significant experience acting in disputes involving copyright, trade mark, design or patent infringement; domain names; misuse of confidential information; misleading or deceptive conduct; passing off; and general contractual disputes.
Judy has also worked in the not-for-profit sector and offers experience in establishing and governing incorporated associations and advising on regulatory and statutory compliance issues relevant to such entities. With a music and museums background, and having worked for various arts organisations, Judy has a deep understanding of the legal, practical and governance issues facing clients in the arts, culture and creative sector.
