Jean is a Senior Associate in our Intellectual Property, Technology and Cyber Security practice group.

/ Experience

Jean has extensive experience advising and working in-house for several State government organisations on Information and Communication Technology contracting, including large commercial projects, complex ICT transactions and acting as probity advisor on a number of high-value procurements.

With a background in technology, intellectual property and planning and environment litigation, Jean practices broadly across all areas of law relevant to government organisations and has worked in many non-legal roles for various departments, including regulatory and administrative compliance for the Queensland Ombudsman’s office.

Jean’s vast industry experience advising on intergovernmental projects, QITC transactions and data sharing, along with her commercial and practical approach, allows her to regularly assist her clients navigate the risks associated with sensitive intellectual property, IT, privacy and data protection law.
