Anna is a respected data, technology and intellectual property lawyer. She acts in transactions in which these areas of intangible assets play a key role. Recent matters in which Anna has been instructed have involved international trademark licences, fintech, platform services development and supply, intellectual property management and licensing, e-publishing agreements, R&D collabouration, pay television program deals, database licensing arrangements and privacy and data protection compliance.

Drawing on over 35 years’ experience assisting leading Australian and international brands, Anna's expertise guides innovative relationships through an internet-mediated regulatory landscape, advising on rapidly transforming concerns across e-commerce, privacy, data science law and copyright.

Anna is co-author of the Thomson Reuters’ published texts Computer Contracts Principles & Precedents which has been in continuous publication for over 30 years. Anna has been the trademark law course coordinator & lecturer for the World Intellectual Property Organisation-Queensland University of Technology Masters of Intellectual Property Law program. She is Deputy Chair of the Law Council of Australia’s Intellectual Property Committee and Chair of the Queensland Law Society’s Privacy, Data, Technology and Intellectual Property Law Committee.

In addition to her Master of Laws degree, Anna has postgraduate qualifications in corporate governance through the Governance Institute of Australia and in data analytics. In 2023, Anna completed with distinction, Queensland University of Technology's Graduate Certificate of Data Analytics. Anna has been a Board member of various entities, including the Queensland Music Festival, the former National Procurement Board, and the Plant Breeder's Rights advisory committee.
