Kayla is a Partner in our Construction, Infrastructure & Major Projects team.
Kayla's breadth of experience in providing both front-end and back-end construction advice to her clients means she is able to assist in the management of projects from inception through to completion as well as the resolution of disputes that can arise throughout.
In the back-end space, Kayla has extensive experience working on disputes ranging from major arbitral proceedings (both locally and overseas) to smaller adjudications and other bespoke alternative dispute resolution process such as expert determination.
Throughout her career Kayla has been involved in resolution of highly technical industry specific issues, giving her a strong understanding of the construction and engineering industry and the clients she represents. From a front-end perspective, Kayla assists with contract drafting, contract administration and interpretation as well as providing general advice in respect of commercial and legal strategies for major projects and infrastructure in various Australian states and territories.
She has advised on a number project delivery models including Public Private Partnerships (PPPs), engineering procurement construction (EPC) and engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) and works with a focus that is not only best for her clients but best for the project.
