David Nicholls - David was named Preeminent by Doyle's Guide. As the head of HopgoodGanim’s Planning and Environment practice, David has a reputation as one of Australia’s top planning and environment lawyers. David advises on planning and environment litigation with a strong focus on negotiated dispute resolution, as well as provides extensive front-end technical and strategic advice to project proponents and conducts due diligence.  

James Ireland - James was named as Leading by Doyle's Guide. James is well regarded as a trusted advisor specialising in the areas of planning and development approvals, planning litigation and dispute resolution, infrastructure, land valuation and the compulsory acquisition of land. James has over 20 years’ experience advising developers, local government and State government authorities on all aspects of planning and environment  law.

Sarah Macoun - Sarah was named as Recommended by Doyle's Guide. Sarah brings to the team extensive experience in the areas of planning approvals, litigation and dispute resolution, together with many years of expertise and a keen interest in environmental legislation and policy. Her practice involves advising developers, government entities, and mining and infrastructure proponents across the spectrum of planning and environment related legislation.
