HopgoodGanim Lawyers is pleased to announce the appointment of Jo Garland, a prominent energy transition partner, to their office in Perth.

Commencing on 2 April, Jo brings deep experience in energy and projects, specifically renewables, decarbonisation, and climate change, further strengthening the firm’s capability and position as a trusted advisor to clients in the Energy, Renewables and Mining sector.

With a career spanning more than two decades, Jo has worked with major players across renewables, heavy industry, utilities and oil and gas. She has advised on some of the largest renewables projects, industrial decarbonisation initiatives and emissions trading schemes both in Australia and internationally.

Jo joins HopgoodGanim from HFW, and will bring with her Jessica Marshall, a Special Counsel with considerable experience across a range of matters in the energy and regulatory space, from 7 April.

Jo will be working in partnership with HopgoodGanim’s highly-regarded Resources and Energy, Environment, and Native Title and Cultural Heritage practices based in Perth and Brisbane.
