HopgoodGanim Lawyers IWD champions

Jasmine is an advocate and champion of women in the manufacturing industry.  She pours energy into training young people (regardless of their gender) and helping them achieve their dreams.  Thanks to Jasmine, JRS is at the forefront of manufacturing innovation and education in Australia.

Nominated by: Hannah Fas

Anna is incredibly smart, a gifted lawyer, a wonderful mentor and a champion of equality for all. Anna is a role model to many HopgoodGanim staff because she leads by example at all levels, delivering high quality work, working flexibly to balance her professional and personal life, and enjoying a successful career as an insurance lawyer and skilled litigator in her area of speciality.  She respectfully and successfully challenges the norm for the betterment of the firm and the team she works with and is an inspirational leader of the firm.

Nominated by: Lisa McDonald

Rebecca is a senior leader with over 20 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and APAC regions, with a career history including working within the industries of technology, government, oil and gas, software, engineering, retail, ICT, not for profit and performance management consultancy.  Rebecca is the local leader for Brisbane for Mentor Walks, providing mentorship for aspiring women, and she enjoys the opportunity to connect and support others.  Mentor Walks connects aspiring women with senior women from a diverse professional community. As mentors and mentees walk and talk, they discuss their challenges, successes and lessons learned.

Nominated by: Leah Robertson

Amy has been passionate about women's rights for a long time, in particular by working in and advocating in relation to the issue of domestic violence.  She is also an amazing role model for women in sport, having performed at a semi-professional level in basketball and spending many years mentoring and coaching young girls' teams.  Most recently at a kids charity fundraiser basketball day (Hops n Hoops) she had all the kids involved and gave the girls confidence that they could match it with the boys (which they did, with aplomb!).

Nominated by: Jon Erbacher

Leanne is a voice for those who don't have the power or platform.  She is always fighting for rights of women in the community, particularly those in minority groups. She has joined HopgoodGanim and has made an amazing change in just a year and she deserves to be the champion for change.

Nominated by: Jessica Mark

Briar is amazing at advocating for herself and other women, particularly as mothers in the workplace, and is always willing to provide advice and a listening ear to other women navigating career decisions and flexible working arrangements.
