One of our three pro bono priority areas under our Pro Bono Impact Strategy is to work with First Nations communities so that they can achieve the outcomes they want to achieve. The long-term changes we want to deliver on include First Nations community-led solutions and First Nations-led economic participation and we’ve been looking at the best way we can support First Nations startups and businesses in the lead up to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic games.
In collaboration with Triple A Murri Country, Parallax Legal, Joshua Creamer, HumanizeMedia and with assistance from BDO in Australia, HopgoodGanim Lawyers has co-designed 10 legal fact sheets to support First Nations startups and to assist in avoiding common legal issues in the process of starting their business.
